The present invention provides a technique such that the flow of a fluid and a concentration gradient formed by the flow can be controlled in a desired direction. A chamber 11 is a closed space extending in a two-dimensional direction. The chamber 11 includes a specific region 111 in a part thereof. Both a first port and second port 121, 122 deliver the fluid into the chamber 11 in a direction crossing the extension direction of the chamber 11. Thus, a combined flow having a velocity component in at least one direction is generated at or near the specific region 111. Discharge ports 13 allow the fluid to be discharged from an edge part in the extension direction of the chamber 11 or the vicinity thereof.
