PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loss-in-weight type quantitative feeder in which the quantitative feeding accuracy is improved as a whole operation period.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, articles are supplied from a supply tank to a measuring tank when the amount of articles in the measuring tank is reduced. Then, first of all, a gate opening degree Gx of the supply tank for determining the supply flow rate of the articles is brought to a large value called Gx=G1, and successively, gradually reduced according to the elapse of time tx. Finally, it is brought to Gx=G0 slowly and smoothly, and the supply of articles is stopped. Here, for example, an original gate opening degree G1 is set so that the vibrational component appearing in a weight measurement value Wx' due to the supply of the articles may be suppressed as much as possible. As a result, an apparent exhaust control period Ta affected by the vibrational component is shortened, and thereby the quantitative feeding accuracy as the whole operation period is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
