Provided is a MnBi-based magnetic powder having a hexagonal MnBi-based magnetic phase containing Sn and having a Sn content of 0.2 to 5 atomic% with respect to the total of Mn, Bi and Sn. Moreover, the bonded magnet containing the kneaded material of this MnBi type | system | group magnetic powder and a resin binder is provided. Furthermore, the present invention provides a MnBi-based metal magnet that contains a hexagonal MnBi-based magnetic phase containing Sn and has a Sn content of 0.2 to 5 atomic% with respect to the total of Mn, Bi, and Sn.
