A thermoelectric conversion material that greatly increases the Seebeck coefficient, a thermoelectric conversion device having the thermoelectric conversion material, a thermochemical battery, and a thermoelectric sensor are provided. The thermoelectric conversion material of the present invention has a redox couple and a capture compound that selectively captures only one of the redox couples at a low temperature and releases it at a high temperature.
