In particular, the invention relates to N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) allosteric modulators and methods for their use in the prevention or treatment of disorders or conditions caused by or related to NMDAR dysfunctions. The invention also relates to a method for identifying NMDAR allosteric modulators.
