patent summary? high efficiency polarized ndyag laser, mode quality and high operational stability? a continuous, polarized, solid-state laser that uses semiconductor diode pumping modules for laser rods and operates with dynamic stability over a wide range of pumping power. The wide range of dynamic stability is achieved through a resonator that has the two stability zones together. The laser emits a high quality beam and fundamental mode thanks to a resonator that projects a tem00 mode into the rod large enough to not allow higher order modes to oscillate. The laser has its dynamic range further increased by thermally induced bi-focal lens compensation. This compensation is made by using two laser rods, a polarization rotator between them and a symmetrical resonator. It is necessary that the two rods with their pumping modules operate under identical conditions and that there is a system between them that projects the main plane of rod one with 1: 1 magnification into rod two. The technology allows to achieve high output power and laser equivalent brightness as well as high system stability.
