EXTRACTION PROCESS FROM UVAIA LEAVES, COMPOSITION OBTAINED BY THE UVAIA LEAF PROCESS AND USE

The present invention describes the process of extracting from leaves of eugenia pyriformis cambess. and obtaining a fraction rich in α-amirine and ß-amirine, involving extraction using pressurized liquid (elp). The liquid solvent is selected from the group consisting of methanol, ethanol, ethyl acetate and hexane. In this process, pressure, temperature and solvent flow are controlled under the conditions necessary for satisfactory extraction to occur. The use of the fraction rich in bioactive compounds such as gastroprotective, antidepressant, analgesic, antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory is also foreseen.
