In particular, the invention relates to a novel class of small molecules having a quinazolinodione structure that act as inducers and inhibitors of reactive oxygen species (ros) of mitochondrial activity in cancer cells (e.g., pancreatic cancer cells). and its use as a therapy for the treatment of cancer (eg, pancreatic cancer) and other diseases.
