belt connector, endless belt, and method for producing a belt connector. a toothed belt connector for producing an endless belt has two sheets adapted to be connected to one another by means of hinged joints along one or more teeth. each hinged joint has at least one hole extending through tooth portions so that when the holes match, a pin can be extended through the holes to connect the leaves to the teeth. The sheets can be joined with the ends of the belt to produce the endless belt. the tip end of each hinge joint may be chamfered or it may have a stepped finger that fits within a cutout on the opposite sheet to prevent the hinge joint end from protruding when the belt is wound around a sprocket .
