The subject of the invention is a supramolecular platinum metallo-complex oxycellulose matrix complex with a gradual release of platinum metal complex which contains 5 to 30 wt. a platinum metallo-complex, which is preferably cisplatin, non-covalently bound to an oxycellulose matrix, which consists of oxidized forms of cellulose with high therapeutic effects in topical intramuscular applications to residual tumor tissue after surgical removal.
