The method includes thermomechanical processing, combining the combined deformation and annealing. The deformation is carried out in two stages, and at the first stage an intensive plastic deformation is carried out by continuous equal-channel angular pressing in the temperature range 200-600 ° C with an accumulated true degree of deformation (ε) more than 6, at the second stage plastic deformation is carried out with the degree of deformation 30% at temperatures of 20-600 ° C, and annealing is carried out at temperatures of 250-550 ° C. EFFECT: obtaining long bars of titanium-nickel alloys with shape memory effect with simultaneous enhanced mechanical properties and functional characteristics due to the creation of an ultrafine-grained structure.
