The invention is related to agricultural machine-building, in particular, to implements for bed cutting and shaping. The objective of the invention is better quality of bed shaping. Said objective is attained by provision of a tractor-mounted bed former for bed cutting and shaping comprising a base, a suspension, two beams, two hydraulic markers, two mouldboard ploughs and a former, wherein the base, at a height of 15-25 cm above the bed level, has a hingedly mounted frame with rigidly fixed protective plates and an adjustable subframe; duckfoot sweeps on S-shaped posts are arranged in chessboard fashion relative each other on the frame; and a rotatable drum that can contact the soil is mounted at the end of the subframe. The disclosed invention makes it possible to form the necessary fine-structured profile on any soil types, to impart a smooth relief to the bed surface, to retain optimum water-air conditions, and to increase significantly the yield of agricultural products cultivated by the bed technology.
