PGA TUBULAR PATCH AND TUBULAR SUPPORT THEREOF MADE OF ABSORBABLE MATERIAL FOR THE TISSUE RECONSTRUCTION OF URETHRAL AND/OR URETERAL REMOVED SEGMENTS

The application describes a tubular patch (3) made of PGA fabric, particularly containing within it a mesh tubular support (10) of PGA/PLA, for implantation to replace one or more urethral and/or ureteral removed segments for use in tissue reconstruction of the removed segments for the treatment of diseases such as necrosis, stenosis, tumours, trauma, iatrogenic injuries and the like, or congenital malformations, wherein, in use, the patch is without any coating of culture cells (cultured tissue cells) previously cultured and/or surface treatment to promote engraftment during regrowth of the autologous tissues.
