METHOD FOR CULTIVATING THE STRAIN RHODOCOCCUS RHODOCHROUS M33

The invention relates to bio technologies and concerns a laboratory and commercial method for cultivating the Rhodococcus rhodochrous M33, a producer of nitrile hydratase. The cultivating method comprises addition of sources of asparagine acid anions and metal ions, i.e. iron, magnesium and cobalt ions, to the culture medium. The invention also includes a medium for cultivating the Rhodococcus rhodochrous M33 containing a source of asparagine acid anions and sources of metal ions of iron, magnesium and cobalt. The invention makes it possible to commercially produce a biomass of the Rhodococcus rhodochrous M33 producing strains having high nitrile hydratase activity.
