The mechanism for automatic electrode exchange during the welding process with the TIG method by robotic means includes a fitter (8) for which the compressor is fitted with a pusher (6),which cooperates with the electrode clamp (4) by increasing the diameter of the hole in the electrode clamp (4).In order to replace the electrode automatically in the process of automatic welding by the TIG method, the burner with the used electrode (4) shall be moved to the electrode exchange position.The used electrode is caught in the jaw (14) closed /opened by the fitter and released from the burner clamp and replaced by a new electrode (4).After checking the correct installation of the new electrode the burner is ready to work.
