New strains of bacteria of the species Lactobacillus kunkeei, such as: L. kunkeei CH1, L. kunkeei CH2, L. kunkeei CH3, L. kunkeei Z1, L. kunkeei Z3, L. kunkeei Z5, L. kunkeei Z5, L. kunkeei K3, L. kunkeei Z1, L. kunkeei Z3, L. kunkeei Z5, L.kunkeei III1, L. kunkeei VII, L. kunkeei VI3, L. kunkeei VI4, L. kunkeei VI6, L. kunkeei VII4 and Fructobacillus fructosus, such as F. fructosus V5 and F.Fructosus VIII1, isolated from the digestive tract of bees, identified, marked and deposited at the Institute of Immunology and Experimental Therapy.Ludwig Hirszfeld, Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw. New strains of bacteria, defined above, are used in the control and prevention of honeybee diseases.Probiotic preparations based on these bacterial strains listed above, added to bee feed, are also subject to the notification,favourably in the form of lyophilisates with preservatives and preservatives enhancing the durability of the preparation.
