The object of the notification is an irradiation device,which comprises a hollow body (1) in the form of a dome and a photosensitive element network (2) placed on the hollow surface of the body (1),where the photosensitive elements (2) are positioned on the bulging surface of the body (1) as follows,it is possible to collect separate irradiation data at different levels. The notification shall also cover the setting of the photovoltaic panel,comprising the irradiation determination stage for more than one plane and the optimum photovoltaic panel setting angle using the device as designed and the application of the device to determine irradiation at different planes and to determine the optimum angle a setting of the photovoltaic panel or diagnosis of defects related to the photovoltaic panel configuration.
