METHOD FOR IMPROVING RESISTANCE OF CEMENT CONCRETE WITH RECYCLED AGGREGATES

The invention relates to a method for improving the performance of recycled aggregates by wear application in aggregate mixtures containing granules having the minimal size of more than 4 mm, intended to be employed in preparing cement concrete for constructions. According to the invention, with a view to improving mechanical resistance, the method consists in mixing recycled aggregate granules (1) of the class 16...25 mm, by free falling, concomitantly with some metal cubes (2), using a Los Angeles machine (3) and, after carrying out the method, the metal cubes (2) are removed from the so obtained new mixture of recycled aggregates (4) which are recycled aggregates of improved performance characteristics.
