The invention relates to a process for preparing a bioactive ceramic material for depolluting water contaminated with lead ions. According to the invention, the process consists in adding, to the solution obtained by dissolving a triblock-copolymer and hydrochloric acid 2M in water at the ambient temperature, tetraethyl orthosilicate, triethyl phosphate, calcium nitrate and glucose, the resulting mixture being stirred for 48 h, at the ambient temperature, then filtered, washed and dried at 100°C, for 48 h, the resulting powder being immersed in a usual bioactivity stimulating fluid (SBF) for 12 h, at 37°C, to finally result in a bioactive ceramic material of increased porosity and improved adsorption capacity.
