The invention relates to a device for reducing swirling motion intensity in a centrifugal pump suction chamber. According to the invention, the device comprises several cylinders (6) of different diameters, which are arranged in an inclined position in relation to the axis of a rotating disc (7), the cylinders (6) having on their side surface some blades (8) for increasing their rotation speed, they being put into motion by the liquid which flows from a suction chamber (2) towards a centrifugal pump (5), where, due to the rotary motion, the periphery of a suction pipe (4) is permanently swept by the movement of the cylinders (6) which makes their extremity located in the vicinity of the intake section (3) of the suction pipe (4) intercept the swirls in their motion towards the centrifugal pump (5) and take over their rotation, while either deflecting their path or breaking them.
