The invention relates to a photovoltaic cell based on glass/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM+Ba stearate + Mg phthalocyanine/Al which has higher performances than classic photovoltaic cells with a structure of glass/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/P3HT:PCBM/Al. According to the invention, the photovoltaic cell comprises a glass support (1), a layer of indium tin oxide ITO, to which an anode terminal (3) is connected, a layer (4) of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulphonate PEDOT:PSS, an active layer (5) consisting of a mixture of P3HT (poly(3-hexylthiophene)) which is a semiconductor polymer of an electron donor p type and a mixture of Ba stearate and Mg phthalocyanine (MgPc) and a last layer (6) of Al to which a cathode terminal (7) is connected.
