A channel assembly (100) for soilless plant culture, and corresponding plant cultivation method. The channel assembly (100) comprises: a channel main body (1) having an opening formed on a top portion thereof and having a bottom face (4) and two side faces (5, 6), wherein an inner surface of the bottom face (4) of the channel main body (1) is provided with at least one protruding ridge (7) extending in a length direction of the channel main body (1); and at least one channel cover (2) configured to at least partially close the top opening of the channel main body (1), wherein the channel cover (2) is formed with at least one hole (3) to allow a plant or a container containing a plant to pass through the at least one hole (3). The channel assembly (100) has the advantages of facilitating plant growth, easy disassembly and maintenance, and superior stability.
