The present invention provides a method for controlling an optical phase network and a method for recognizing an object using such a network and an optical system. The method for controlling the optical phase network (102) includes a step of: reading a measurement signal (116), which refers to the intensity distribution and/or wavefront of an optical signal (104) sent from the optical phase network (102); another step of comparing the measurement signal (116) with a reference signal in order to determine the deflection value (120) bewteen the measurement signal (116) and the reference signal;finally by using the deflection value (120), generating a control signal (124) for controlling the optical phase network (102).
