A system path control comprising: a network including communication devices (202 to 205) which are adapted to communicate via at least one wireless link between two communication devices, said wireless link is one of a plurality of wireless links using adaptive modulation; and a control path (201) which is adapted to obtain the probability of bandwidth corresponding to a bandwidth of link indicating a stability bandwidth link with respect to each of the plurality wireless links to establish preferably a communication path using at least one wireless link of the plurality of wireless links between two communication devices of said network whose probability of bandwidth is greater than a predetermined threshold, and to establish , additionally, an alternative path for a communication path using a wireless link of the plurality of wireless links whose bandwidth probability is less than the predetermined threshold.
