A suitable reagent system for the production of a polyurethane foam exhibiting emissions decreased isocyanate and comprising: (A) a polyisocyanate component comprising a poly (phenylisocyanate) having a content of polymeric isocyanate than or equal 70% by weight and a content of total monomeric isocyanate less than or equal to 30% by weight, with the sum of polymeric and monomeric totaling 100% by weight of poly (phenylisocyanate), wherein the 30% by weight or less of monomeric isocyanate is comprised of less than or equal to 25% by weight of the 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, less than or equal to 5% by weight of the 2,4'-diisocyanate diphenylmethane and less than or equal to 2% by weight of 2,2'-isomer of diphenylmethane diisocyanate, with the sum of the 2,2'-isomer, the 2,4'-isomer and 4,4'-isomer totaling 30% by weight or less of monomeric isocyanate; with (B) an isocyanate-reactive component comprising (1) at least one charged polyol or a polymer polyol and (2) at least one amine-initiated polyol; in the presence of (C) at least one catalyst and (D) water, wherein the isocyanate index is less than 100 and the polyurethane foam is an acoustic foam having a density of from 19.2 to 64.1 kg / m3.
