Use of a mineral of general formula ABX3, A and B being cations and X being anions, in which the mineral has a crystalline perovskite structure, in vinyl aromatic polymer foam, in which the polymer foam additionally comprises one or more athermal additives selected from a) inorganic powder additive selected from silica powders and calcium phosphate, b) carbonaceous powder additive selected from graphite powders, carbon black, petroleum coke, graphitized carbon black, graphite oxides, and graphene , and c) geopolymer powder and geopolymer powder compound.
