The invention relates to a method for displaying objects (21) and object data of a design plan on a boundary surface (16) of a room (11), wherein, in a first step, a design plan of the room (11) is selected and loaded in a control device; in a second step, the current display field (25) of a display device (18) is determined; in a third step, the current display field (25) of the display device (18) on the boundary surface (16) is compared to the design plan and the objects (21) of the design plan currently in the display field (25) are determined; in a fourth step, projection parameters suitable for the objects (21) in the current display field (25) are determined and transmitted to the display device (18); and in a fifth step, the objects (21) currently in the display field (25) are projected on the boundary surface (16) by means of the display device (18).
