A method of manufacturing a tooth-shaped component including drawing processof draw-forming a workpiece so as to obtain a cylindrical container which hasa bottomsurface portion and a side surface portion; diameter-reducing process ofreducing adiameter of a particular part in which a tooth tip portion is to be formed inthe side surfaceportion of the cylindrical container, so as to increase a thickness of acorner portion suchthat an external shape of the corner portion between the bottom surfaceportion and theside surface portion satisfies the following conditional expression (1); andtoothshape-forming process of forming the tooth tip portion in the particular partof thecylindrical container reduced in diameter in the diameter-reducing process, soas to obtaina tooth-shaped component which has the bottom surface portion, the sidesurface portion,and the tooth tip portion.(AR + 2t (1)
