A PRACTICE APPARATUS FOR EQUINE BARREL RACING

A practice apparatus is provided for use in training a horse and rider forequine barrelracing. The practice apparatus is a barrel that uprights itself when tiltedfrom a verticalposition toward a horizontal position. The barrel has an internal assemblywith astretchable section that connects the barrel to a ground loop. Thisstretchable sectionallows for limited stretching of the internal assembly when the barrel istilted whenever itis hit by a horse or its rider during practice.
