The invention relates to a particular embodiment of a mechanism for equalizing the weight of multiple chassis forming agricultural machines and implements, equalizing the weight of a heavier chassis relative to another lighter chassis, guaranteeing a uniform distribution of the weight of the equipment over the wheelsets thereof and allowing perfect, uniform following of the unevenness of the ground. The invention is characterized by the appropriate use of pneumatic springs (1) installed in an inclined position (2) on fastening supports (3) and (4) specific, respectively, to the heavier chassis (5) and to the lighter chassis (6), said springs (1) having the technical feature whereby, when they are actuated pneumatically, they exert a force between the chassis (5) and (6), on which they are interlinked, and transfer, by reaction, the weight of the heavier chassis (6) to the lighter chassis (5), thereby equalizing the weight between both chassis and the weight of the equipment over the wheels of the implement; said springs (1) being able to work independently, interdependently, as a closed system or, also, as an active system.
