Disclosed are an operation method for a teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus, which is capable of issuing voice prompts when a user is brushing their teeth, the teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus, a toothbrush base, and a toothbrush. The operation method comprises the following steps: a. detecting user teeth-brushing action behaviour to obtain behaviour data (S101, S102); b. selecting a corresponding action scenario in a data comparison table according to the behaviour data (S103); c. a voice player playing content to be played which corresponds to the selected action scenario (S104).
