An operation method for a teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus, which is capable of issuing voice prompts when a user is brushing their teeth, the teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus, a toothbrush base, and a toothbrush. The operation method comprises the following steps: a, detecting user teeth-brushing action behaviour (S101); b, determining whether the detected action behaviour is teeth-brushing action behaviour, and if yes, detecting whether the teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus receives information (S102, S103); c, if yes, a voice player in the teeth-brushing monitoring apparatus automatically playing the received information (S104).
