The present invention provides a base station, a radio-frequency (RF) remote unit, and a motherboard, an RF daughter card, and a channel automatic establishment method thereof. The RF remote unit comprises an RF daughter card and an RF remote unit motherboard. An RF device on the RF daughter card realizes an RF channel. An intermediate-frequency (IF) resource pool on the RF remote unit motherboard is provided with multiple RF processing devices realizing an RF channel by means of combination. The RF daughter card and the RF remote unit motherboard can be detachably connected through a card slot. A processor on the RF remote unit motherboard can select, according to an RF daughter card currently connected in the card slot and current service configuration information, an RF daughter card required to be used, and select an IF processing device from the IF resource pool to realize an IF channel corresponding to the RF channel realized by the RF daughter card.
