The present invention relates to a spring stopper (1) for screwing into a spring, having a cylindrical body (10), which is produced using a metal casting method and has a thread (20) directed to the exterior in the longitudinal direction (L) of the cylindrical body (10), wherein the thread has at least one cut-out that allows an identically shaped model of the spring stopper, when producing a casting mould by making a mould of the model, and/or the spring stopper after casting in a casting mould, to be removed from the mould without destroying the casting mould. The invention further relates to a method for producing a spring stopper with the aid of a permanent casting mould, and to a method for producing a casting mould made from two mould halves by making a mould of an identically shaped model of the spring stopper and subsequently casting the spring stopper in this casting mould. The invention finally relates to a system formed of a spring stopper and a spring, and to the use of the spring stopper for elastically supporting a house.
