A high-pixel ultra-wide angle optical system, comprising a first lens (1), a second lens (2), a third lens (3), a fourth lens (4), and a fifth lens (5) in sequence from an object surface to an image surface along the optical axis; for the first lens and the second lens, the object surfaces are convex surfaces, the image surfaces are concave surfaces, and the focal power is negative; for the third lens and the fourth lens, the object surfaces are convex surfaces, the image surfaces are concave surfaces, and the focal power is positive; for the fifth lens, the object surface is a concave surface, the image surface is a convex surface, and the focal power is negative; the fourth lens and the fifth lens are glued to each other to form a combined lens; the focal length f45 of the combined lens meets the following conditions: 2f4510, and TTL/EFL≤16.5.
