Method for controlling a contactless energy transmission process for transmitting energy from a primary apparatus to an energy store of a secondary apparatus by means of an adaptable controller of the primary apparatus, wherein there is a data communication connection between the primary apparatus and the secondary apparatus, comprising the steps of: - transmitting at least one item of information needed to determine an item of transmission information relating to a controlled system of the transmission of energy from the primary apparatus to the secondary apparatus via the data communication connection, - determining the transmission information relating to the controlled system by means of an analysis device of the primary apparatus and/or of the secondary apparatus on the basis of the information, - adapting the controller on the basis of the determined transmission information.
