The present invention relates to topical pharmaceutical composition comprising i) miconazole or salts thereof; and ii) luliconzole or salts thereof. The composition is effective in the treatment of fungal infection. The topical pharmaceutical composition according to present invention provides synergism which broadens the spectrum of activity, enhance the rate or extent of killing (ex. through synergy), minimize development of resistance and reduce toxicities in the treatment of topical fungal infection.
