The present invention relates to a method and device for evaluating the value of an item by using the actual value of the item and an experience value that is felt by a user after using the item. The item value evaluation method according to an embodiment of the present invention is a method in which an item value evaluation device connected to a computer network evaluates the value of an item, and the method can include: a step for displaying the actual value of a specific item, wherein the actual value is represented as a number; a step for receiving a user input for displaying an experience value of a specific item, wherein the experience value is represented as a number; a step for calculating the difference between the actual value and the experience value of the specific item; a step for generating evaluation information about the actual value of the specific item using the calculated difference; a step for storing the generated evaluation information in an evaluation database; and a step for displaying the generated evaluation information about the actual value.
