According to the method, RGB display is converted into RGBW display, so that the problem of solid color dimness caused by the inconsistence of different pixel gains is avoided. In addition, the saturation gain value in different partitions can be independently set according to specific pictures, so that the brightness gain effect of W sub-pixels can be improved to the maximum extent, and the transmittance is improved.
