The invention relates to a Doppler sonography head mount for fixing at least one sonographic probe (40) to a bone window region of a patient head (22), having a central section (18) connecting a pair of elongated supports (12) formed in the manner of a single limb and a nose support section (26, 28) to be placed on and/or attached to the nose of the patient head, wherein at least one of the supports is assigned displaceable and/or adjustable holding means (38) for the sonographic probe, wherein the holding means have latching and screwing means (48, 56) mounted such that they can be pivoted in the manner of a dome for the insertion and retention of an elongated probe body (42) of the probe along the extension direction thereof, which have an inner sleeve (48) designed to receive the probe body and an outer plug-in and screw receptacle (56) at least partly enclosing the sleeve in the mounted state and offering an internal thread (58) designed to interact with the sleeve, wherein the sleeve has at least one laterally and/or radially sprung and preferably tongue-like screw and latching section (50) such that a preferably web-like projection (50) formed on the outer side of the screw and latching section permits the sleeve to be pushed into a thread of the internal thread, counter to a spring force of the screw and latching section, by means of manual action and, in the inserted state, the sleeve can be screwed into the screw and latching section by means of interaction of the projection with the internal thread.
