The present invention relates to a method and a device for processing a workpiece through a hot working process merged with electromagnetic forming using induction heating, the method comprising: 1) a step of positioning a workpiece on a heating coil; 2) a step of uniformly heating the workpiece up to a process temperature at which the internal flow stress of the workpiece is low enough for formability to be enhanced; 3) a step of positioning the heated workpiece on the side on which electromagnetic forming is performed; 4) a step of forming the workpiece by generating electromagnetic formability in the transferred workpiece; and 5) a step of cooling the workpiece. According to the present invention, there are beneficial advantages in that, by electromagnetically forming the workpiece that was heated in advance to a forming temperature, a spring back effect that occurs in the workpiece due to the electromagnetic forming can be prevented, high formability can be achieved, and a wrinkling phenomenon can be overcome.
