Provided is a closed-loop control method for a screw loosening tester capable of precisely controlling a lateral load. The screw loosening tester capable of precisely controlling a lateral load comprises a load-generating motor (11), a load transfer mechanism, a load control motor (17), and a load control mechanism. In the control method, the load-generating motor (11) is controlled to drive the load transfer mechanism on the basis of a control command, a displacement signal collected by an eddy current displacement sensor (3) and a force signal collected by an S-shaped cylindrical pressure sensor (8). A conventional machine for testing loosening of a screw under a lateral load is used to simulate a scenario in which a screw is acted upon by a lateral load so as to investigate a screw loosening pattern, but is not applicable to, or may produce an inaccurate result in, a scenario in which a screw is acted upon by a constant force load in a lateral direction. The control method of the present solution can precisely control a stable lateral load to act upon a screw, and particularly ensures a constant lateral force load, thereby accurately and thoroughly simulating a scenario in which a screw is acted upon by a lateral load.
