In order to supply an intelligent piece of garment in a simple and safe manner with energy, an energy store (3) is magnetically connected to the piece of garment (1) in a defined arrangement such that a first energy coupling piece (6) in the energy store (3) is aligned in a defined arrangement with a second energy coupling piece (9) in the piece of garment (1) for contactless transfer of electric energy.
