Disclosed is a method for quickly determining and optimizing light emission quality of a light guide plate based on an image processing technology. The method comprises: regarding an illumination diagram of the light guide plate as a monochrome image; converting illumination information into gray scale; counting the gray scales of all pixel points by using a grey histogram; analyzing the light emission quality of the light guide plate according to the distribution of the gray scales; finding out positions of the gray scales with relatively discrete distribution on the illumination diagram in the gray histogram by means of programming; and directly optimizing and eliminating the dot filling rate of the corresponding areas, and giving a uniformity evaluation formula with a precision P evaluation criterion. The present invention can efficiently improve the optimization efficiency of the light guide plate, and the optimization result is closer to the actual visual effect.
