An electric vehicle start-up device, an electric vehicle and a start-up method therefor, the start-up method comprising: a gateway (2) receiving a first request message (102) for cancelling key authentication, which is sent by means of an authenticated rental car machine (1), and forwarding the first request message (102) to a passive entry, passive start (PEPS) system (3); according to the first request message (102), the PEPS system cancelling a process of detecting whether a key is in a vehicle, and after detecting that a vehicle start-up button is pressed, directly providing low voltage power to a vehicle controller unit (VCU) (4) so as to start the VCU (4); the gateway (2) receiving a second request message (103) for enabling a rental controller area network (CAN), which is sent by the rental car machine, and forwarding the second request message (103) to the VCU (4); the VCU (4) directly controlling the vehicle to perform high voltage power-on according to the second request message (103) such that the vehicle enters a ready state.
