An intelligent rail transit system comprises standard operating vehicles, an on-line preparation system, an on-line acceleration section, a running section, a downline deceleration section, an off-line post-processing system, and a central integrated dispatching control system. The on-line preparation system is connected to an entrance of the on-line acceleration section, an exit of the on-line acceleration section is connected to the running section, the running section is connected to the downline deceleration section, and the downline deceleration section is connected to the off-line post-processing system. Standard operating vehicles are basic units running on the on-line acceleration section, the running section and the downline deceleration section, and each standard operating vehicle is a controlled object unit during running. The central integrated dispatching control system can monitor the position where each standard operating vehicle is located, and acceleration, rail change, running and deceleration of the standard operating vehicles are implemented by means of mutual cooperation of parts of a coordination and instruction system, so that running on the tracks is achieved. The present invention provides the intelligent rail transit system having a high intelligent degree and a high traffic efficiency.
