The present invention provides a wireless network control method for a smart terminal and a wireless network control system. The wireless network control method comprises the following steps: when a smart terminal is connected to a wireless network, storing a name and a password of the wireless network; invoking a positioning module of the smart terminal to detect and store a location range when the smart terminal is connected to the wireless network; detecting whether the smart terminal is in the location range; and if the smart terminal is in the location range, turning on a wireless network switch of the smart terminal, and connecting to the wireless network using the name and the password; or if the smart terminal is not in the location range, turning off the wireless network switch of the smart terminal. The present invention determines whether to activate or deactivate a wireless function of smart terminals by means of location identification, thereby avoiding the cumbersome processes of manually activating or deactivating the wireless function, while also avoiding power consumption caused by constant activation of the wireless function, thereby achieving automatic switching and automatic connection of wireless networks of the smart terminals.
