METHOD FOR PROCESSING DATA OF A TWO-DIMENSIONAL REPRESENTATION OF A GEOGRAPHICAL AREA

A method for processing data of a first set of data corresponding to a two-dimensional representation of a geographical area comprising at least two rooms (F1, F2, F3) and a set of walls respectively denoted by two points representing the respective ends of the wall. Each room (F1, F2, F3) is described by a set of points respectively representing an intersection of two walls of the room (F1, F2, F3). The method is implemented by computer means and comprises: - generating a second set of data by a first data processing performing a segmentation of at least one wall among two walls shared by two adjacent rooms (F1, F2, F3) of different lengths; and - generating a third set of data by a second data processing in which at least two points are joined in a single point if the distance between the two points is less than a predetermined joining threshold.
