METHOD FOR PROCESSING DATA FROM A TWO-DIMENSIONAL REPRESENTATION OF A GEOGRAPHICAL AREA

A data processing method of a first set of data corresponding to a two-dimensional representation of a geographical area comprising at least two pieces (F1, F2, F3). Each piece (F1, F2, F3) is described by a set of points respectively representing an intersection of two walls of the room (F1, F2, F3). Each wall is marked by two extreme points of the wall. The method is implemented by computer means and comprises: - generating a second set of data by a first data processing operating a segmentation of at least one wall among two walls shared by two adjacent rooms (F1, F2, F3) and of different lengths - generating a third data set by a second data processing in which at least two points are collected at a single point if the distance between the two points is less than a predetermined gathering threshold.
