The present disclosure provides a securing near-infrared taggant, a method for producing the taggant, a near-infrared absorbing and reflecting ink composition including the taggant, and an article having the taggant printed thereon. According to the present disclosure, the securing near-infrared taggant, and the near-infrared absorbing and reflective ink composition may be applied to a product having an authenticity identification function by a device reading and an anti-tamper or forging effect on a certificate of a driver's license, a passport, a check, securities, a banknote and a brand product.
